- The world on your shoulders!
Stress is like a credit card account
that you keep charging and only paying the minimum payment; sooner
than later, you'll max it out and you can't use it anymore. When the
weight of the world is on your shoulders, your body shuts down.
Stress can affect every organ system, putting a tremendous strain on
your body. Even the immune system can be affected......and when
you're sick, you're usually tired.
- The couch & TV
Some people claim that exercise only
“wears them out” so they don't workout. On the other hand, people
committed to regular exercise recognize that while the workout itself
may make them tired, their energy levels actually soar over the long
term. That's because movement creates more energy you have.
- Food
Our food can affect our energy on many
different levels. Whether you don't eat enough or eat too much and
you'll feel sluggish and tired. What kind of food you eat are also
key; any meal that's sugar or fat heavy will weigh you down
(literally), while the same portions bursting with the right
nutrients will provide you with fuel for the entire day.
