Is "Blah!" okay?

Let me ask you a question we usually ask of each other as a greeting. “How Are You?” So many people respond with “I'm Okay” or “Not bad!” That is almost like a standard type of response when, in actuality, they are tired, run down, not feeling their best. I'm not surprised considering that nine out of 10 Americans don't eat enough fruits and vegetables. That means they are not getting enough of the right nutrients. Not eating enough fresh fruits and vegetables is actually a great reason to supplement what we eat, which makes a big difference on how we feel today but can also make a big difference in our health down the line.

Providing our bodies with the right nutrition means that we also have the energy and vitality to enjoy life to its fullest. It puts a smile on our face and a spring in our step. But, how do you guarantee getting the right nutrients in the right amounts? Taking just any supplements will not necessarily provide balanced nutrition.

While studying for my Bachelor's Degree, I did a lot of research on companies that provide nutritional supplements. I was surprised at how few of them would not even provide answers to very simple questions such as:
  • Do you guarantee the purity of your products?”
  • Do you guarantee the potency of your products?”
  • Can you provide scientific proof that your products work?”.

One would think that they would be happy to say that.... Yes, they can make those guarantees! Or..... Yes, they have that information!! Instead, some would prefer not to respond or be vague. There was even one that responded that “everyone knows Vitamin C works” (that was the example they were using) so how did I dare asking about whether or not they could guarantee that theirs work. I'm sorry......(actually not).......but if I was investing in a car, I would want to be sure that it works like it's supposed to and I do the same when it comes to supplementation.

Thinking about it, anyone can put vitamins and minerals into a supplement. Actually, I was even offered to have my own label by one of the companies I had contacted. If I'm going to connect my name with something, it better be good quality that's guaranteed. Instead of my own label, I chose one that is clinically proven. Testimonials are great as they gives us examples of what people are experiencing in their lives. Clinically proven and testimonials......now that's what I'm talking about! That's what I pick!

The supplements I am taking are clinically proven to provide a foundation for a longer/healthier life. This is part of my investments in my long-term health. I treasure that it's benefits are supercharged vitality, immune support, stress management, anti-aging phytonutrients, antioxidant defense, DNA protection, heart and brain health, bone and join health, digestive health, lung health, healthy hair/nails/skin, colon health, nerve and muscle function, healthy teeth and gums, vision and eye health, to name just a few.

So let me ask you............Are you feeling “BLAH” or are you feeling FANTASMIC!!!?

Low Energy.....3 causes!

  • The world on your shoulders!

Stress is like a credit card account that you keep charging and only paying the minimum payment; sooner than later, you'll max it out and you can't use it anymore. When the weight of the world is on your shoulders, your body shuts down. Stress can affect every organ system, putting a tremendous strain on your body. Even the immune system can be affected......and when you're sick, you're usually tired.

  • The couch & TV
Some people claim that exercise only “wears them out” so they don't workout. On the other hand, people committed to regular exercise recognize that while the workout itself may make them tired, their energy levels actually soar over the long term. That's because movement creates more energy you have.

  • Food
Our food can affect our energy on many different levels. Whether you don't eat enough or eat too much and you'll feel sluggish and tired. What kind of food you eat are also key; any meal that's sugar or fat heavy will weigh you down (literally), while the same portions bursting with the right nutrients will provide you with fuel for the entire day.
